Sometimes, the long awaited "Light at the End of the Tunnel" is an oncoming train.
(Hope you don't mind, I've posted about them on my blog.)

About these portraits I'd like to ask you a question now: It is wonderful that you share a lot of vintage stock, be it photos or illustrations that you find, and according to your faq, you claim having copyright to all of them. (Please correct me if I am wrong!)
But especially when talking about such paintings done by old masters, it is even critical for magazines that publish them under "fair use" if they are allowed to do this, because you never know who holds their copyright by today.
So I am simply wondering, do you share this to get us inspired, which would be completely fine with me, or do you claim copyrights, and tell others to use this material directly for their art, while none of you has legal rights to do so?

I try to provide public domain images to the best of my ability, and have on occasion taken a few down due to uncertainties in rights or known copyrights since uploading them, i.e. being informed by a watcher or a friend.
I have always shared my resources "to inspyré and to be inspyréd."
I was a little unsure about these MA inspired paintings, so we shall see. I welcome very much feedback from my watchers as to their opinion on a legit or known copyrighted image/material, but I realise it is predominately my responsibilty to provide a safe stock environment free from copyright issues or concerns.
