Q: What is Steampunk?

It is a subgenre of science fiction, a retro-futuristic fantasy style, inspired by the Victorian-era & combined with the technological aspect of steam power.

We see it in fashion, culture, architectural style and art.

The term "Steampunk" originated for the most part in the 1980s and has since taken on a whole new creative edge of its own from Post-apocalyptic to a Cyberpunk-Horror. It has become a way of life for many who enjoy a Steampunk culture and lifestyle.

2. It was encouraged that deviantART stocks/resources be used for this contest. (But was not compulsory.)

3. Only ONE submission per deviant.

4. Either Traditional or Digital mediums (no AI)

5. 1 Overall Winner & 1 Winner for each category (plus a people's choice)

6. Judges should take into consideration the use of dA stocks/resources & the interpretation of the theme.

7. When Judges have selected their choices for the winners, they need to send them in note form to me aka Bnspyrd to tally up & announce.
